Wily Python’s The Parlor Game

The Parlor Game

Usually played with four or more people (can be played with two using special rules; more than nine people also using special rules)

Using group intervention techniques the group takes a turn describing their perception of each one in the group then when this is done the descriptions are placed in a safe place. Then throughout the evening each members must act out the description that the intervention gave them.

At the end of the evening the group will get together to read the written descriptions and then they will vote by writing the names of the top three who they think did the best job being the perceive person.

Each persons performance it ranked from 1-3 on each piece of paper. Then the papers are put into a hat. One person is chosen to tally the votes. If the total votes for number one are a majority then that person wins. If however no number one has a majority then the person that got the majority of number two votes wins. If as before no number two get a majority then the tally of the number three votes with the majority wins. If none of the rankings has a majority then everyone votes again.
